Boating season is almost here! Make sure you’re ready for a safe summer on the water.
The Annual Boaters Safety Course, conducted by the Michigan DNR, will take place on Sunday, May 17th from 3:00pm–6:00pm at the Diamond Lake Yacht Club.
This is a home study course and registration is required through the Michigan DNR website.

Students should pick up their course book at least one week prior and complete the material before attending the in-person review and written test.
There is no cost to attend. Students under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Course books are available at Hall’s Bait & Tackle in Union, Michigan.
